Wedding Wardrobe - About Us
The
Wedding Wardrobe was founded by owner Caroline
Welch
(formerly Hannaford) in April 1997. Caroline has worked
in the fashion and textiles industry from leaving fashion college
in 1984 until 1993. After working from home for a number of years,
designing and making bespoke
bridal and evening wear
for selected clients, demand for Caroline's work grew, resulting
in her opening the bridal studio in Eastwood. This location was
chosen as it was conveniently situated close to the M1 motorway,
and within easy commuting for her clients.
Nova
Scrimshaw joined the Wedding Wardrobe in Spring
2004. Nova has spent over 30 years in the bridal industry, working
for companies such as:

for Harrods liberties and other exclusive shops
John D Maltby - making wedding
veils
for shops
P G Laces - making veils for whole sale 14 years

is a specialist Cornelly machinist which enables us to offer a
fully coordinated bespoke
embroidery service,
which incorporates matching the embroidery
designs on your wedding
dress
to your wedding
veil,
and bridal
Dolly
Bags.
