Hi, I’m Anita!

Hello, I’m Anita Mansell and for the past 30 years I’ve been part of the UK Wedding Industry, I’ve had the great pleasure of owning 5 wedding boutiques and I’m the proud owner of Wedding Wardrobe. 

So here’s our story…

Since starting my events business in 1993, I have worked with over 400 fantastic and dedicated wedding suppliers and opened my first bridal boutique in 2008.  We’ve had 5 very successful boutiques and over 4,000 wonderful brides purchase their gowns with us. 

In 2018 we took steps to adapt our wedding dress business, offering 80% of our gowns available for immediate purchase and focused on how to be successful online. We closed our remaining retail store in 2021, concentrating on providing an online platform for everyone to sell wedding dresses.

Over the past 6 years we’ve have seen the bridal industry change in many ways, many more brides are looking to buy a gown quickly and take away with them on the day. 

Our strategy is to be the place brides turn to first when wanting to buy a gown. We want to make purchasing a gown easier by bringing together UK buyers with the largest collection of gowns.

We have built wedding Wardrobe to enable everyone to access gowns throughout the UK – a dedicated membership that allows private sellers and bridal retailers the opportunity to sell pre loved and off the peg, discontinued gowns at a great price.

Believing that the UK wedding market is very different to the rest of the world, we are specifically dedicated to sellers and buyers in the UK only.
